Men’s Basketball falls at Wilmington

The Muskingum men's basketball team dropped a road OAC matchup to Wilmington on Wednesday night.

  • Freshman Duane Davis notched a career-high 20 points to fuel the Muskies.

  • Freshman Duane Davis recorded a career-high 20 points to lead Muskingum. Davis also tallied five rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
  • Sophomore Zaveon Croff recorded 11 points, a team-high eight rebounds, and three steals off the bench for Muskingum; while senior Noah Begue knocked down two triples for six points.
  • Sophomore Ethan Taylor chipped in four points for the Muskies, while junior Luken Hill added three points and three rebounds.
  • Freshman Logan Stotzer and freshman Kaelan Pulliam both chipped in three points for Muskingum as well.
  • Wilmington was led by Domenic Farley with 14 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
  • As a team, the Muskies shot 21-for-62 (33.9%) from the field, while Wilmington finished 24-for-52 (46.2%) from the floor.
  • Muskingum hit 5-of-24 (20.8%) from deep on the night, while the Quakers shot 10-for-24 (41.7%) from three-point range.
  • Wilmington outrebounded Muskingum 43-36 on the night, and the Quakers also finished with a 17-7 edge in assists.
  • Muskingum finished with advantages in second chance points at 15-8 and in points in the paint at 32-26, while the Quakers saw an edge in bench points for the game at 36-23 over the Muskies.
