Men’s Basketball comes up short at Kenyon

Muskingum's potential game winning three-pointer in the final seconds came up just short as the Muskingum men's basketball team fell 58-56 at Kenyon.

  • Muskingum was led by sophomore Zaveon Croff with 14 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Croff finished 7-for-10 (70%) shooting from the field.
  • Sophomore DJ Donnell also chipped in 14 points for the Muskies. Donnell added a team-high two assists as well as two rebounds.
  • Freshman Logan Stotzer also got into double figures with 10 points for the Muskies, while junior Sean Johnson finished with seven points.
  • Sophomore Zachary Chatmon notched five points, while junior Ethan Taylor and freshman Kaelan Pulliam both added three points.
  • Kenyon was led by Nick Lewis with 11 points, while David Mazon finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.
  • As a team, Muskingum shot 21-for-50 (42%) from the field, while Kenyon finished 21-for-54 (38.9%) from the floor.
  • Both teams struggled to connect from distance as Muskingum finished 6-for-16 (37.5%) from deep, while Kenyon tallied a 9-for-23 (39.1%) mark from three-point range.
  • Kenyon finished with a slight 38-37 edge in rebounding, and the Owls finished with 10 assists on the game compared to four for the Muskies.
