Men’s Basketball looks to contend during 2022-23 campaign

Under the direction of first-year head coach Nathan Wahle, the Muskingum men's basketball team will look to contend for a top spot in the Ohio Athletic Conference during the 2022-23 season.

Returning to the men's basketball program will be nine letterwinners from last year's team. Senior wing Noah Begue, junior forward Bradley Russell, junior guard Sean Johnson, sophomore guard DJ Donnell, sophomore guard Alex Coffey, sophomore guard Jayden Humphrey, sophomore guard Zaveon Croff, sophomore forward Ethan Taylor, and sophomore forward Zachary Chatmon will all look to guide Muskingum this season.

Adding depth to Muskingum's lineup this season will be junior wing Jarmond Hogg, sophomore guard Austin Mann, and sophomore guard Landen Russell. The Muskies will also look to their five freshmen to make an immediate impact on the squad this season. Guard Duane Davis, wing Shane Knepp, wing Logan Stotzer, wing Dalton Patterson, and forward Kaelan Pulliam will make up Muskingum's freshmen class this season.

The Muskies tip off their season this Saturday, November 12, on the road at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational for an 8:00 p.m. contest against the Lions. Muskingum will begin conference play on Saturday, December 3, when they travel to John Carroll. Tip-off is slated for 2:00 p.m. against the Blue Streaks.
