The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior guard Alex Masinelli Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his outstanding performances against #10 Mount Union and Ohio Northern to wrap up the regular season. This marks the second time Masinelli has been named OAC Player of the Week this season.

Masinelli registered a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds against #10 Mount Union last Wednesday, then followed up his performance with a game-high 39 points and seven rebounds in Muskingum's 76-69 regular season-finale win over Ohio Northern on Saturday.

This season, Masinelli leads the OAC in points per game with 21.5, while also leading the Muskies in rebounds per game with 7.2, and assists per game with 3.4.

The Muskies will face Ohio Northern in the opening round of the OAC tournament on Monday, February 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the ONU Sports Center.
