How it Happened

• After Mount Union jumped out to a quick 13-8 lead, the Muskies were able to trim the deficit down to 15-14 early in the first half.
• After leading 29-23 with just under five minutes left in the half, Mount Union closed the period on a 14-6 run to carry a 43-29 lead into halftime.
• Out of the break, the Purple Raiders used a 24-10 run to build a 67-39 lead with 12 minutes remaining.
• Mount Union would hold onto their lead down the stretch and claim their 82-61 victory.

• The Muskies were led by senior Alex Masinelli with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
• Freshman Zaveon Croff tallied 10 points, while senior Noah Tomlinson added seven.
• Freshman Mason Purvis added five points for the Muskies.
• Mount Union was led by Braedon Poole with 24 points.
• On the night, Muskingum shot 25-of-60 (41.7%) from the field, while Mount Union went 36-of-77 (46.8%).
• Mount Union scored 24 points off turnovers compared to eight for Muskingum.
• Both teams finished with 39 rebounds on the night.
