• Out of the gate, Marietta was firing on all cylinders, jumping out to a 19-8 lead with 15 minutes left in the first half.
• Marietta would continue their hot play, pushing their lead to 14 midway through half one.
• The Muskies would cut the Pioneer lead down to nine, but Marietta would answer back and built a 42-25 lead with 4:25 remaining until halftime.
• Marietta would maintain a 51-36 lead into the break.
• Out of the break, both teams would play back-and-fourth basketball in the opening minutes.
• The Muskies would use an 11-4 run to cut the Marietta lead down to 12, but the Pioneers would answer back and push their lead to 20 with 4:29 remaining.
• Marietta would maintain their lead for the remainder of the ballgame, and secure their 92-72 victory.

• The Muskies were led by senior Alex Masinelli who tallied 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
• Freshman DJ Donnell recorded a career-high 14 points, while also dishing out a team-high five assists.
