The Muskingum men's basketball team slipped to Ohio Athletic Conference foe Mount Union in their regular-season finale on Saturday night, 99-67.

OAC Tournament
- Muskingum will return to action Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the OAC Tournament. Muskingum will be the six-seed and play at three-seed Mount Union. The game time is TBA. This will mark the third time that Muskies and Purple Raiders will face each other - all in a five-day span.
Inside The Numbers
- Freshman Evan Boatwright led the Muskies with a career-high 18 points off the bench and grabbed five rebounds. He shot 7-of-10 from the floor.
- Junior MJ Smith added 11 points and dished out a team-high four assists.
- Senior Alex Masinelli and junior Carson Carter each chipped in seven points for Muskingum.
- As a team, the Muskies shot 20-of-58 (.345) from the field and went 8-of-16 (.500) from the three-point line.
- Chris Painter Jr. led the Purple Raiders off the bench with 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field.
- Braedon Poole added 18 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
- Christian Parker chipped in 16 points on the night for Mount Union.
- As a team, the Purple Raiders went 37-of-67 (.552) from the floor and shot 14-of-34 (.412) from behind the arc.
The Difference
- Mount Union started off the contest strongly and took an early double-digit lead within the first six minutes.
- The Purple Raiders didn't linger from their strong start and took a 48-34 lead into halftime.
- Helping Mount Union was a 40-22 edge in points in the paint and 20 fastbreak points.
- Muskingum finished with 36 rebounds and nine assists as a team.
