The Muskingum men's basketball team earned a dominating win against the Wilmington Quakers on Friday night, 90-68.

• Senior Alex Masinelli led the Muskies with 23 points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds.
• Junior Trey Singleton added 18 points off the bench for Muskingum.
• Junior MJ Smith chipped in 14 points for the Muskies.
• Muskingum shot 36-of-56 (64.3%) from the field as a team and went 9-of-16 (56.3%) from behind the arc.
• Wilmington's Jeffery Mansfield led the Quakers with 17 points and dished a team-high five assists.
• Jackson Todd also added 11 points for the Quakers on the night.
• As a team, Wilmington shot 25-of-56 (44.6%) from the floor and went 8-of-21 (38.1%) from the three-point line.

Game Highlights

Both squads battled back-and-forth and traded leads for most of the first half until the Muskies would go ahead at the 12-minute mark, 12-11, and start building momentum for the rest of the first half. Shots started to fall for Muskingum as they built their lead to 40-33 at the break.

The Muskies' momentum continued in the second half as Muskingum ballooned its lead to as high as 28 points en route to the home win. Muskingum's 90 points marked its highest output of the young season.
