Four different Muskies scored in double figures as Muskingum defeated Kenyon 85-60 on Tuesday evening at the Anne C. Steele Center.

First Half
- Muskingum dominated the first half as the Muskies claimed an early 7-0 advantage following a layup from senior Joshua Keyes.
- Keyes sparked a 9-0 run at the 13:12 mark that extended the Muskingum lead to 27-12.
- Muskingum entered the break leading 43-25.
- Keyes led the Muskies in the first half with 13 points. Sophomore Jarrell Marsh chipped in 11 points, while sophomore Jalen Paige added 10 points.
- The Muskies shot .472 (17-of-36) from the field.
- Kenyon was led by Phillip Crampton with seven points.
- Lords finished the first half 10-of-30 (.333) from the field.
Second Half
- The Muskies continued its dominate performance in the second half as an early 8-0 run would push the Muskingum lead to 60-38 with 13:18 remaining.
- Muskingum grabbed its largest lead of the contest, 81-56, off a three-pointer by senior Joshua Glass with 2:35 left to play.
- Muskingum out scored Kenyon 42-35 in the second half to claim the 85-60 season opening win.
- In the second half, Keyes led the way for Muskingum with nine points and nine rebounds.
- The Muskies shot 17-for-39 (.436) from the field and 3-for-16 (.188) from behind the arc.
- The Lords were led by Bennett Grigull with eight points.
- Kenyon shot 13-for-38 (.342) from the field.
Post Game
- Keyes led the Muskies in the contest recording a double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds.
- Paige added 14 points and three assists.
- Marsh chipped in 13 points, while senior Rickey Wilson finished with 11 points and four rebounds.
- The Muskies had four players score in double digits.
- Muskingum ended the game 34-for-75 (.453) from the field and 12-of-15 (.800) from the free throw line.
- Lords was led by Crampton with 13 points.
- Grigull and Matt Shifrin both had 12 points each.
- Kenyon shot 23-for-68 (.338) from the field and 10-for-20 (.500) from the free throw line.
