Capital survived the Muskingum Blackout sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and escaped New Concord with an 83-78 comeback win against the Muskie men's basketball team on Wednesday night.

- Records: Muskingum (5-16 overall, 2-12 OAC), Capital (11-11 overall, 7-8 OAC)

Inside The Numbers
- Muskingum was paced by five players scoring in double figures.
- Freshman Jarrell Marsh and junior Rickey Wilson led the Muskies with 13 points each. Marsh also logged five assists, while Wilson grabbed three rebounds.
- Junior Malik Billingsley added 12 points and three assists.
- Sophomore Jacob Geller and junior Joshua Glass each scored 10 points. Geller hauled in a team-high seven boards, while Glass grabbed six rebounds.
- Junior Brenden Mathews provided a big spark off the bench hitting three, three-point shots.
- Muskingum ended the game shooting .438 (28-of-64) and held a 38-32 edge in rebounds.
- Capital was led by Mark Minch who scored a game-high 25 points.
- Michael Green chipped in a 21-point, six-rebound effort.
- The Crusaders shot .509 (29-of-57) from the floor.
Game Notes
- Muskingum used a late 17-5 run in the first half to take a 44-37 lead into the break.
- In the second half, Muskingum stretched its lead to 52-44 with 15:55 on the clock.
- Capital used a 13-5 run over the next three minutes to tie the game at 57-57 at the 13:02 mark.
- The game remained a tight contest and was tied at 68-68 with 6:35 to play. It marked the seventh tie of the night.
- Capital used a quick 7-2 burst to take the lead for good at 75-70 with 3:08 to play.
- The Crusaders' comeback was highlighted by outscoring the Muskies 46-34 in the final frame.
