The Muskingum men's basketball team stumbled at Kenyon on Sunday afternoon, 88-65.
The Basics
- Records: Muskingum (3-3 overall), Kenyon (2-2 overall)
- Location: Gambier, Ohio - at Kenyon Athletic Center
First Half
- Kenyon used a 21-3 run over an eight-minute span to grab control and take a 28-10 lead with 4:12 to play in the half. During the surge, Muskingum hit just 1-of-11 shots, while Kenyon made 8-of-11.
- The Lords led 39-17 at the intermission.
Second Half
- Kenyon maintained its double-digit lead throughout the final frame en route to handing the Muskies their third road loss of the season.
Post Game
- Muskingum was led by junior Joshua Glass who scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds and registered three assists and three steals.
- Freshman Jalen Paige scored 15 points.
- Junior Joshua Keyes grabbed eight rebounds.
- Freshman Jayson Peoples added 10 points.
- Muskingum ended the game shooting .279 (19-of-68) from the floor.
- The Muskies' 65 points and .279 shooting percentage marked their lowest totals of the season.
- Tim Connolly led Kenyon with 25 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
- Brien Comey added 23 points for the Lords.
- Kenyon shot .571 (32-of-56) from the field and held a 51-38 edge in rebounds.
