Muskingum freshman Jalen Paige erupted for a career-high 25 points in an 81-73 loss at Bethany on Tuesday night.

First Half
- After the opening 12 minutes of play, the Bison held an 18-16 lead.
- Bethany closed the final eight minutes of play on an 18-10 run to take a 36-26 lead into the break.
- Paige led the Muskies with five points and four rebounds.
- Junior Brenden Mathews added five points to the Muskies effort.
- Junior Joshua Keyes grabbed nine rebounds.
- Muskingum shot .267 (8-of-30) from the floor.
- Bethany was paced by Darrian Bruster who scored 13 points.

Second Half
- Muskingum took a 48-47 lead on a pair of Paige free throws with 11:56 on the clock.
- A Paige basket at the 7:23 mark tied the game at 54-54.
- Bethany then used a 5-0 spurt to take the lead for good with 6:22 remaining.
- Paige led the Muskies in the second frame with a 20-point outburst on 5-of-7 shooting and a 9-of-9 performance from the free throw line.
- Muskingum connected on 13-of-13 free throws in the half and shot .556 (15-of-27) from the floor.
- Calique Jones led Bethany with 11 points.
- The Bison shot 15-of-26 (.577) from the field.
Post Game
- Paige led all scorers with a career-best 25 points, with six assists, four rebounds and one steal.
- Sophomore Jacob Geller added 10 points and four rebounds
- Keyes had 12 rebounds, eight points and three assists.
