Kimble ends career with 1,064 points

Muskingum senior Logan Kimble closed out his career on Sunday against John Carroll with a game-high 21 points to end his tenure ranked 22nd all-time at Muskingum with 1,064 points.

Kimble connected on eight shots from the field, which included hitting five three-point shots. He also added one assist, one steal and one block. Muskingum recognized Kimble prior to the game.

John Carroll beat the Muskies 101-79 to claim the Ohio Athletic Conference win.

Sophomore Joshua Keyes had 15 points and six rebound, while sophomore Joshua Glass scored 14 points with five rebounds.

Junior Cody Seiler led the squad with six assists to go along with seven points.

The loss ends the Muskies' season with a 6-19 overall record and 3-15 mark in the OAC.

John Carroll was paced by Will Starks who scored 17 points. David Hendrickson scored 16 points.

The Blue Streaks (19-5, 15-3) ended the outing shooting .544 (43-of-79) and held a 47-36 edge in rebounds.

John Carroll seized control of the game by opening the contest with a 16-0 surge through the opening four minutes of play. The Blue Streak took a 51-36 edge into the break.

In the second half, John Carroll led by as many as 27 (90-63) with 7:20 to play.
