Muskies fall at home against BW

The Muskingum men's basketball team fell against Baldwin Wallace in the Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon, 80-62.

The junior tandem of Christian Keller and Cody Seiler led the squad with 13 points each. Sophomore Joshua Glass also added nine points and six rebounds and senior Logan Kimble chipped in nine points.

The Muskies shot .450 (27-of-60) from the field and ended the outing with a 35-31 edge in rebounds.

Baldwin Wallace was paced by Justin Roth who scored a game-high 21 points. He hit four of the Yellow Jackets' 12 three-point shots. Jake Fetherolf added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Cameron Kuhn had 10 points, six assists and four rebounds.

The Yellow Jackets ended the game shooting .492 (29-of-59) from the field.

The first half was an even battle that saw the Muskies enter the break down 36-34 following Keller's jumper at the buzzer.

In the second half, Baldwin Wallace opened the opened the first eight minutes of play with a 24-10 surge to take a 60-44 lead. The Yellow Jackets led by as many as 22 late.

Muskingum (2-6, 0-3) next travels to Otterbein on Wednesday, December 17. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
