The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum junior quarterback Garrett Gurney has been named OAC Offensive Football Player of the Week for his tremendous effort in this week's contest.

Gurney, the OAC Offensive Football Player of the Week, tallied an impressive 385 yards in the air and added 53 yards on the ground. The combined 438 yards of offense helped propel the Muskies to a win over Ohio Northern by a score of 42-30.

Gurney pieced together three touchdowns in the air and two on the ground in his remarkable performance.

Guided by Gurney's performance, the Muskies improved to 4-1 on the year.
