Goodman named OAC Special Teams Player of the Week

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum senior receiver Ja'Lin Goodman the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Goodman tied the school record for longest kickoff return for a touchdown with his 98-yard return late in the third quarter against Ohio Northern. Goodman tied the mark set in 2000 by Jeremy Abney against Capital. He ended the game with 136 return yards and averaged 34 yards per return.

Goodman now has 589 return yards this season, which ranks fifth for a single season. He is tied with Connon Thompson, who set the mark in 1993. He also ranks eighth all-time at Muskingum with 1,231 return yards.

This marks the third time in his career and the second time this season that Goodman has been recognized as the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
