Crawford and Goodman named OAC Football Players of the Week

The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum senior quarterback Doug Crawford and senior receiver Ja'Lin Goodman have been named OAC Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.

Crawford, the OAC Offensive Player of the Week, accounted for 453 yards of total offense (347 passing / 106 rushing) and six touchdowns (3 pass / 3 rush) to help lead Muskingum to a 45-38 win at Capital on Saturday. The solid offensive output propelled the Muskies to 30 first downs and nearly 36 minutes of time of possession. He ended the game going 28-of-37 passing or 347 yards and three scores. He also added 106 yards rushing on 21 carries for three touchdowns.

Goodman, the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week, had five kickoff returns for 204 yards and a long of 87 yards. He averaged 40.8 yards per return. Goodman also aided the Muskie offensive onslaught with 112 yards receiving with two touchdowns.

The win at Capital gave the Muskies their first 3-0 start since the 2011 campaign.
