Muskingum Football Head Coach Erik Ieuter has announced the team's 2023 fall schedule. All Muskie home games will be played on Sherman Field at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.
In 2022, Muskingum finished with a record of 5-5, the program's second straight five-win season. The team's 5-5 record also marked the first time Muskingum tallied at least five wins in back-to-back seasons since 1995 and 1996.
Muskingum kicks off the 2023 season on Saturday, September 2, when they host Ferrum. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m., and the contest will also mark Community Day as well. The 2023 season also marks the second year Muskingum will play home games at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex. The complex features fully accessible stadium seating, a covered concourse section, an indoor field house with a turf and 200-meter track, multi-purpose classrooms, and a state-of-the-art performance and training facility.
Muskingum's 101st Homecoming game will be played on Saturday, October 14, when the Muskies welcome Baldwin Wallace to New Concord. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. against the Yellow Jackets. Senior Day is slated for Saturday, November 4, when Muskingum takes on Wilmington at the BHWC. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Muskingum will conclude the regular season on Saturday, November 11, when they travel to take on OAC-rival Marietta for the annual Shriner Game. Game time is slated for 1:30 p.m.
Overall, Muskingum will play five home games and five games on the road.
