The Muskingum football team will host Ohio Northern for a REDOUT on Saturday, September 11, at Zanesville High School. The game time is set for 7:00 p.m. and will mark the Ohio Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

The Muskies enter the contest at 1-0 after beating Waynesburg in their home/season-opener last Saturday, 49-6. The win marked the third straight year that Muskingum has started 1-0 under Head Coach Erik Ieuter. Muskingum ended the game with 387 yards (209 rushing/178 passing) of offense on 48 plays. The Muskies also registered 18 first downs and ended the outing 5-of-5 in the red zone with five touchdowns. Sophomore kicker Hunter Albers added a perfect 7-of-7 performance in extra-point attempts.
