
Muskingum senior defensive lineman Tim Ousley and sophomore kicker Gavin Costello were named D3football.com First Team All-North Region.
Ousley, who was earlier named American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III First Team All-America, First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and recognized with the Paul Hoernemann Award for being named the top defensive lineman in the OAC, led the Muskies in tackles with a career-high 80 and was ranked second in the OAC in sacks (10 for 60 yards) and tackles-for-loss (14.5 for 67 yards). Ousley finished his Muskie tenure ranked first all-time at Muskingum in sacks with 28 and ranked eighth all-time in career tackles with 263.
Costello, who was recognized earlier with First Team All-OAC honors, went 11-for-13 on field goals and was nearly perfect in extra-point attempts going 25-for-26 on the year. His long field goal was 41 yards, and he led the team in scoring with 58 points. Costello tied Vern Albery (1966) for first all-time at Muskingum in field goals made in a season with 11. He also received OAC Special Teams Player of the Week accolades following his three field-goal performance against Capital.
