The Esports team has got their matches rolling in the new semester. The Muskies have been battling it out in the GLEC with matches in Overwatch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Rainbow Six Siege.

Saturday, January 20

• The Muskingum Overwatch team got the Muskies off to a hot start in the GLEC this season, winning their matchup against Mount Union, 3-0 (2-0, 1-0, 1-0).
• The Muskies continued a dominant day in the GLEC with a win in Rocket League over Olivet Nazarene, 3-1 (2-3, 4-2, 2-1, 4-2).
•  The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team stumbled in a contest against Mount Union, dropping their opening match of the GLEC season 1-2 (0-3, 1-0, 0-4) 

Saturday, January 27

• The Muskies dropped matches against Cleary in both Overwatch and Rocket League to earn their first losses of the GLEC season. 
• The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate GLEC team earned their first and second wins of the season with a comeback 2-1 (0-2, 3-0, 5-0) win over Saint Francis, and a dominating 2-0 (4-0, 4-0) win over Trine.

Saturday, February 3

• The Muskies Rainbow Six Siege team traveled to the University of Kentucky to participate in a LAN event. They won their first three matches at the event, including wins over Murray State (7-2), Cincinnati (8-7 OT), and Eastern Kentucky (8-6 OT). The Rainbow Six team ended the event in fourth place overall!
• The Muskie Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team dropped a GLEC matchup against Cleveland State, 1-2 (0-2, 2-0, 0-4).

Monday, February 5

• The Overwatch team dropped a highly competitive contest against Ohio Northern, 0-3 (1-2, 1-2, 0-2).

Wednesday, February 7

• The Muskies Rocket League team dropped a hard fought contest against Cleveland State. The final score ended up being 2-3 (2-3 OT, 3-1, 2-3, 2-1 OT, 0-5).
