Esports Playoff Recap (5/16 - 5/22)

The Muskingum Esports program finished with a 3-2 record for the week of April 16 - April 22.

Tuesday, April 18

  • The Muskingum Rainbow Six Siege black team defeated Florida International to advance in the ECAC Playoffs. Muskingum defeated FIU 3-0 to earn the win. Muskingum dominated map one 7-0, etched out a close 8-7 win in map two, and cruised to a 7-2 win in map three to secure the victory. With the win, the Muskies will compete for the ECAC National Championship on Tuesday against Fisher.

Friday, April 21

  • Muskingum's Valorant team fell 3-1 to Loyola Maryland on Friday afternoon in the ECAC semi-finals. Despite the loss, Muskingum will compete in the third=place game on Tuesday, April 25, against Lycoming.
  • Madden (Hively) defeated fellow Muskie Madden (Adams) 3-2 to advance to the ECAC National Championship on Tuesday. Adams will compete in the third-place game on Tuesday against Southeastern, while Hively will play for the ECAC crown against fellow Muskie Madden (Crawford).
  • Madden (Crawford) tallied a win via forfeit to advance to the ECAC National Championship. Crawford will defend his title against Muskingum's Madden (Hively) on Tuesday, April 25.
