The Muskingum esports team secured wins in Overwatch and Madden on Thursday night, while also having a good showing in Week 4 of the ECAC Fortnite National Tournament.
The Breakdown
Overwatch
- The Overwatch squad picked up another win on the spring season in a dominate victory over Drury University, 3-0.
- The competition was a best of five-game series.
Madden
Sophomore Adam Iler vs. Texas A&M-San Antonio
- Iller earned another victory in Madden against Texas A&M-San Antonio. 2-0
- Game 1: 28-7
- Game 2: 10-7
- The competition was a best three-game series.
Sophomore Doug Crawford vs. Southern Connecticut State University
- Crawford picked up another victory on the spring season against Southern Connecticut State University, 2-0.
- Game 1: 30-0
- Game 2: 31-28
- The competition was a best three-game series.
Freshman Owen Hively vs. Southern Connecticut State University
- Hively fell in a tough battle against Southern Connecticut State University, 2-0.
- Game 1: 21-24
- Game 2: 7-28
- The competition was a best of three-game series.
Junior Aaron Johnston, Sophomore Doug Atkins, and Hively earned wins by forfeit.
Fortnite
- The Fortnite competed in Week 4 of the ECAC National Tournament on Thursday night.
