The Muskingum esports team went 4-0 on Monday night earning wins in Madden and Rocket League, while also competing in Fortnite for the first time this season.

The Breakdown

Rocket League

  • The Rocket League squad dominated Bellarmine University, 3-0, earning another win on the season.
  • The competition was a best of five-game series.

Madden

Sophomore Adam Iller vs. Culver-Stockton College

  • Iller earned another Madden victory on Monday night, 2-0.
  • Game 1: 34-0
  • Game 2: 28-0

Sophomore Doug Atkins vs. Buena Vista University

  • Atkins swept Buena Vista in a hard-earned victory, 2-0.
  • Game 1: 41-7
  • Game 2: 20-14

Freshman Owen Hively vs. Chowan University

  • Hively earned the victory in an exciting two games against Chowan, 2-0.
  • Game 1: 35-28
  • Game 2: 35-21

Fortnite

The Fortnite squad kick-off their season with an impressive showing in Week 1 of the NACE National Tournament.

  • Black Team - sophomore Kesten Taylor and junior Tre Boger
  • Game 1: Placed 14th and grabbed four eliminations.
  • Game 2: Placed 30th and earned two eliminations.
  • Red Team - freshman Jaden Swidereck and freshman Chase Walton
  • Game 1: Placed 37th and notched zero eliminations.
  • Game 2: Placed 13th and grabbed four eliminations.
