The Muskingum esports team swept Marietta in all three competitons on Saturday for a 3-0 day, while earning first ever League of Legends team win for the program.
The Basics
- Overall Record: Muskingum (5-7)
- As a team, the Muskies went 3-1 on the week.
- The Counter-Strike team fell to Tiffin on Thursday, 16-1.
The Breakdown
Rocket League
- Marietta forfeited to the Muskies to give the Rocket League team the first win of the the day.
- Second win on the year for the Muskie squad.
Overwatch
- The Muskies were able to win the first two games to give them the victory over Marietta, 2-0.
- Game 1- Muskies won, 3-1.
- Game 2- Muskies won, 2-1.
- Competition was a best of three game series.
- Second win in a row for the Overwatch squad.
League of Legends
- Muskingum earned their first ever League of Legends team win after beating Marietta in a close and hard fought battle, 2-1.
- Competition was a best of three game series.
