The Muskingum baseball team concluded action at the North Central College Tournament with 15-9 win over Hanover. The Muskies improve to 10-0 on the season and continue to move at a historic pace in the win column.

- Muskingum tacked on seven runs in the fourth inning and never gave the lead away from that point.
Inside The Numbers
- The Muskies scored 15 runs on 12 hits. They added nine RBI's, eight walks, and zero errors.
- The Muskie offense was fueled by sophomore Conner Thamann who finished with two hits and three runs scored. Thamann added one walk to his stat line in the contest.
- Senior Weston Melick tallied two hits, one RBI, and two runs scored to help pace the offense. Melick added to his impressive weekend of hitting with another double in this game.
- Freshman Lex Castaneda added two hits, one RBI, and one run scored. Castaneda hit the lone triple for the Muskies in the game to start the action in the high scoring fourth inning.
- Sophomore Benny Hess fired the first home run for the Muskies in the top of the fourth inning. Hess finished with one hit, two RBI's, two runs scored, and two walks in the game.
- Junior Sam Palmieri launched the second home run in the form of a three-run home run in the top of the fourth to help fuel the offensive onslaught.
- Sophomore Grant Mellerson, senior Tobie Teke, freshman Jasper Owens, and sophomore Aiden Reis each added one hit to the offensive surge.
- Teke and Reis each stole a base in the contest.
- Junior Jake Roshau got the start on the mound for the Muskies and went for 3.1 innings.
- Sophomore Gavin Schultz came in for relief and went 1.2 innings.
- Freshman Jake Valentine rounded out the work on the mound with four innings of action. Valentine secured his second win of the season while striking out four batters and not allowing a run in his appearance.

- The Muskies will be back on the field on Tuesday, March 11 when they travel to Grove City for an away contest at 4:00 p.m.
