The Muskingum baseball team made quick work of an Ohio Wesleyan squad that looked overwhelmed by the explosive offensive performance that the Muskies put on in just seven innings of action. Muskingum improved to 9-0 on the season and added to their historic start to the season.

Inside The Numbers
- The Muskies scored 15 runs on 11 hits. They added 13 RBI's, seven walks, and one error.
- Leading the way on offense was senior Weston Melick with two hits, three runs scored, and four RBI's. Melick launched the lone homer for the Muskies as he fired off a bases-clearing grand slam in the top of the second inning.
- Freshman Jasper Owens added to the firey offense with two hits, one RBI, and one run scored.
- Sophomore Aiden Reis tallied two hits and one run scored.
- Sophomore Conner Thamann finished with one hit, one RBI, and two runs scored.
- Senior Tobie Teke knocked one hit and brought in three RBI's for the Muskies.
- Freshman Lex Castaneda, freshman Brandon Barnette, and freshman Baret Spencer each added a hit for the potent Muskie offense.
- Sophomore Grant Mellerson scored three runs and had two walks.
- Junior Jackson Duchesne finished with two walks and two runs scored.
- Junior Mike Davis had a run scored and one RBI.
- Mellerson, Duchesne, and Melick each recorded one stolen base. Thamann tallied two stolen bases.
- On the mound for the Muskies, sophomore Shoei Yamashita got the start and earned the win with five innings of work where he only gave up two hits and recorded four strikeouts.
- Freshman Yuzo Ishioka tallied two innings of action on the mound to close out the game for the Muskies.
