The Muskingum baseball team moved to 7-0 on the season with a win against William Peace on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies finished with an 8-4 win as freshman Lex Castaneda notched three hits and four RBI's as he led the Muskie bats.

Inside The Numbers
- The Muskies scored eight runs on 10 hits with one error.
- Freshman Lex Castaneda led the Muskie bats with three hits, four RBI's, and three runs scored. Of his three hits he logged one double and one triple.
- Senior Weston Melick and sophomore Benny Hess each tallied two hits to fuel the offense for Muskingum.
- Melick also added two RBI's and one run scored.
- Hess tacked on two RBI's.
- Sophomore Aiden Reis, junior Sam Palmieri, and freshman Jasper Owens each logged a hit in the contest.
- Senior Tobie Teke earned two walks and scored a run.
- Junior Max Vosters got the start for the Muskies and went four innings.
- Sophomore Gavin Schultz finished the game with five innings of work on the mound and struck out nine batters. Schultz earned the win and moved to 3-0 on the season as a pitcher.
