The Muskingum baseball team fell in a road doubleheader at Ohio Northern on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies slipped in Game 1, 3-2, and in Game 1, 15-3.

Inside The Numbers - Game 1
- Junior Brett Carson earned the start on the mound for the Muskies and pitched the first five innings. He allowed two runs off five hits and struck out six batters.
- Junior Sam Pinckert and freshman Nick Congrove led Muskingum with one hit each.
- Carson and sophomore Devin Ryan notched one RBI each during the contest.
- Jake Gheradi led Ohio Northern with two hits and one RBI.
- James Fished pitched the first 7.1 innings allowing two runs off one hit and tallied nine strikeouts.
The Difference - Game 1

- Senior Holden Martin started in the circle for the Muskies, pitching the first three innings allowing ten runs off ten hits.
- Carson led Muskingum at the plate with two hits and an RBI.
- Ryan and senior Matt Stewart added two hits each.
- Freshman Brice Shaub chipped in one hit for the Muskies.
- Will Davis and Corey McMann led Ohio Northern with two hits and two RBIs each.
- Tom Pitko pitched the first six innings for the Polar Bears, allowing three runs off six hits.
The Difference - Game 2
- Ohio Northern took an early 3-0 lead in the first inning of the contest.
- The Muskies scored two runs in the second inning to cut the deficit to 3-2.
- The Polar Bears gained another run in the second to make it, 4-2.
- Muskingum secured a run in the third off an RBI single from Carson to make the score 4-3.
- Ohio Northern went on an 8-0 run in the next several innings to take the win in seven innings, 15-3.
