The Muskingum baseball team fell in a road doubleheader at Ohio Northern on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies slipped in Game 1, 3-2, and in Game 1, 15-3.

• Junior Brett Carson earned the start on the mound for the Muskies and pitched the first five innings. He allowed two runs off five hits and struck out six batters.
• Junior Sam Pinckert and freshman Nick Congrove led Muskingum with one hit each.

• Ohio Northern took an early 3-0 lead in the first inning of the contest.
• The Muskies scored two runs in the second inning to cut the deficit to 3-2.
• The Polar Bears gained another run in the second to make it, 4-2.
• Muskingum secured a run in the third off an RBI single from Carson to make the score 4-3.
• Ohio Northern went on an 8-0 run in the next several innings to take the win in seven innings, 15-3.
