Muskingum baseball sophomore infielder Devin Ryan was named Honorable Mention Division III Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Ryan led the Muskies at the plate last week with a .600 batting percentage in five games played. He notched an impressive team-high 15 hits, scored nine runs, hit six doubles, notched one triple, and tallied a team-best 13 RBIs. He helped guide the Muskies to a 4-2 week, including a 3-1 weekend against Wilmington in OAC play.

Ryan started all five games at shortstop and helped guide Muskingum defensively throughout the week with relentless effort in the infield.

He was recently named Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week after his outstanding performances last week.

The Muskies next travel to Mount Union to take on the Purple Raiders in OAC doubleheader action on Saturday, April 10. Game 1 is at 1:00 p.m. and Game 2 is set for 4:00 p.m.
