The Muskingum baseball team fell in both games on opening day against Mount Union on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies fell in Game 1, 10-0 in seven innings, and slipped in Game 2, 8-0.

Game 1
Inside The Numbers
- Senior Holden Martin started on the mound for Muskingum and pitched three innings allowing six runs. He also earned six strikeouts.

- Mazza scored a wild pitch to get the scoring started in the first inning.
- Mazza made the score 3-0 with a two-RBI single in the fifth inning.
- Mount Union would later rally off four more runs later in the game to make it 8-0.
