#WinsDay celebrating Muskingum's big win's throughout the 2019-20 year

#WinsDay features the Muskingum baseball team's hard-fought victory against Drew on Friday, March 6. The Muskies notched 11 hits as a team with four doubles to earn the 5-3 win over the Rangers at the Florida Coast Spring Training in Ft. Pierce, Florida. 

Senior Holden Martin started on the mound for the Muskies and pitched the first seven innings. Martin allowed two runs on five hits and struck out five batters on the day. 

The Muskies got on the scoreboard first in the opening inning on a stolen base by freshman Devin Ryan to make it 1-0 early. Drew took the lead in the bottom of the first inning off RBI hits to make it 2-1. In the fourth inning, junior Matt Stewart hit a sacrifice fly to center field to tie the game up at 2-2. In the all-important ninth inning, Muskingum scored three runs off a Stewart RBI double and sacrifice hits from freshman Allex Santacroce and freshman Dominic Gorence to bring in Muskie runs and make it 5-2 in favor of the Muskies.

Senior Josh Bigrigg fired the final two innings of the game to earn the win. He allowed one run on three hits with a pair of strikeouts. 

Stewart led the Muskies with two hits, a double, and two RBIs, while Lundell and Ryan each blasted two hits and notched a double during the contest.
