The Muskingum baseball team mustered an Ohio Athletic Conference twinbill split at Heidelberg on Tuesday afternoon. The Student Princes won the opener 6-3 and the Muskies took the nightcap, 8-2.

Game 1
- Senior Christian Leitenberger led the Muskies going 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a run scored.
- Sophomore Eddie Harper added an RBI double.
- Junior Joe Shumar had a pair of hits, including a double.
- Freshman Marc Ibarra and junior Matt Lynn each scored a run.
- The Muskies scored three runs on eight hits and stranded nine runners.
- Freshman Darien Smith (0-1) took the loss after going four innings and allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits, with four strikeouts.
- Derek Hug led Heidelberg going 3-for-4 with a two-run home run.
- Joe Walton added three RBIs on a two-run single and a ground out.
- Heidelberg scored six runs on 11 hits and left 10 runners on base.
- Adam Manner (3-2) earned the win after tossing seven innings and allowing three runs on eight hits.
- Cory Jacobs notched the save (4) with a no-hit ninth inning.
- Muskingum took the lead with two runs on two hits in the third inning.
- Heidelberg responded with one run in the bottom of the third, four in the fourth and one in the fifth to take a 6-2 lead.
- The Muskies added their final tally in the seventh.
Game 2
- Muskingum scored eight runs on 12 hits.
- Leitenberger led the charge going 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a double.
- Ibarra had a two-run double and scored a pair of runs.
- Lynn scored three runs and Shumar went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
- Freshman Evan Hinds (5-1) fired 8.2 strong innings and allowed two runs on nine hits, with two strikeouts.
- Adam Hershberger led Heidelberg going 3-for-4.
- Kyle Fluharty (3-4) took the loss after allowing seven runs (four earned) on 10 hits in 8.2 innings. He also registered six strikeouts.
- Heidelberg led 2-0 after two innings.
- The Muskies scored one in the fourth and three in the fifth to take the lead.
- Muskingum used a four-run ninth to seal the game.
