Denison used a five-run eighth to pull away from Muskingum on Wednesday evening en route to a 10-4 win.

Inside The Numbers
- Muskingum scored four runs on 11 hits.
- Freshman Nate Meija, junior Matt Lynn and senior Christian Leitenbeger each had two hits for the Muskies. Lynn also added an RBI.
- Freshman Gavin Gray belted a two-run, pinch-hit single.
- After trailing 4-0 following three innings, Muskingum scored a run in the fourth and fifth innings to cut its deficit to 4-2.
- Denison answered the Muskie rally with one run in bottom of the fifth and scored five runs in the eighth to take control of the outing.
- Junior Dillon McDermott (0-1) took the loss after lasting 2.2 innings and allowing four runs on three hits.
- Evan Flax led the Big Red going 3-for-5 with two runs scored.
- Jake Meegan, Noah Hahn and Eric Zmuda all had two RBIs for the Big Red.
- Zack Huarte (2-0) earned the win after going eight innings and allowing two runs on eight hits.
