Over the Weekend, the Muskingum archery team dominated the competition at the USA Archery Northern Outdoor Target Regional. The Muskies brought back six first-place medals, four second-place Medals, and five third-place medals.
Notables
- Sophomore Kylee Brookover and senior Grace Pedersen were named to the All-Region Team for their impressive showings. Brookover received four medals, while Pedersen earned two.
In The Field
- Sophomore Kylee Brookover competed in the Women's Compound Individual and was awarded the first-place medal. Brookover was named to the All-Region Team.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Oswald received third place in the Women's Compound Individuals.
- Senior Grace Pedersen earned third place in the Women's Fixed Pin's Individual. Pedersen was named to the All-Region Team.
- Senior Remington McClung competed in the Men's Fixed Pins Individual. McClung placed second.
- In the Womens Barebow Individual, freshman Carlie Ellsworth placed first.
- Both freshman Gage Kennedy and freshman Eric Pascual placed in the Men's Barebow Individual. Kennedy finished second and Pascual earned third.
- The Men's Fixed Pins team finished on top of the competition with a first-place finish. The Muskies that participated in this event were junior Wes Ellsworth, senior Kayd LaCroix, and senior Remington McClung.
- Freshman Carlie Ellsworth, freshman Jensen LaCroix, and sophomore Shawna Wickmann made up the Women's Barebow team that finished in first place for the Muskies.
- The Men's Barebow team finished first. The archers that competed were freshman Finn Duffy, freshman Gage Kennedy, and freshman Eric Pascual.
- Sophomore Kylee Brookover, freshman Lexi Marsh, and freshman Kaitlyn Oswald made up the Women's Compound team. They took second place.
- Junior Wes Ellsworth and senior Grace Pedersen competed in the Fixed Pins Mixed team and earned second place.
- In the Compound Mixed team, sophomore Kylee Brookover and junior Brandon Miller received third place.
- In the Mixed Equipment team, sophomore Kylee Brookover, freshman Carlie Ellsworth, and junior Wes Ellsworth would take third place.
