The Muskingum women's soccer team slipped in a battle against Washington & Jefferson on Sunday afternoon, 2-1.

• Muskingum ended the game with a season-high 10 shots and three corner kicks.
• Sophomore Brianna Mackie led the Muskies with game-high five shots and one goal.
• Freshman Morgan Meisel added three strikes.
• Freshman goalie Abigail Karstensen played the opening 45 minutes in frame and made one save, and allowed one goal.
• Sophomore goalie Kelly Buck played the final 45 minutes in goal and made one save, and allowed one goal.

• Kayla Daughtery and Olivia Olsen each tallied a goal for the Presidents.
• Abby Hipkins played the second half in frame and made two saves, and allowed one goal to earn the win.

How it Happened

• Washington & Jefferson grabbed the early lead in the seventh minute when Daughtery scored off Katie Hahn's corner kick.
• Muskingum tied the outing in the 61st minute when Mackie converted a penalty kick. The PK was awarded after a handball in the box was called on the Presidents.
• W&J scored the game-winner in the 71st minute on a goal by Olsen.
