Coach Holycross Named Regional Coach of the Year; Three Muskies Named Academic All-Americans
May 14, 2025The Muskingum archery program received national recognition from USA Archery, with Head Coach Craig Holycross named Regional Coach of the Year. In addition, freshman Kelly Hawvermale, junior Kylee Brookover, and sophomore Kaitlyn Oswald were named to the Academic All-American Team.

Softball honored with six All-OAC selections
May 13, 2025Six Muskingum softball student-athletes have earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors for their standout performances this season. Sophomore infielder Natalie Smith, freshman infielder Kasey Timko, junior outfielder Cara Taylor, and sophomore pitcher Bethany Rodman were all selected to the Second Team All-OAC. Freshmen Emily Travis (infielder) and Mattie Bailey (outfielder) received Honorable Mention recognition.

Teke honored with OAC Player of the Year to highlight Baseball All-OAC accolades
May 12, 2025The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior outfielder Tobie Teke the 2025 OAC Player of the Year, recognizing his outstanding season. Teke, along with senior first baseman Weston Melick and junior second baseman Sam Palmieri, earned First Team All-OAC honors. On the mound, graduate student Erik Cover and freshman Jake Valentine were both selected to the Second Team All-OAC for their impressive performances.

May 08, 2025On day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament, the No. 4 Muskingum softball team suffered a 6-2 loss to No. 1 Baldwin Wallace. The Muskies will now face No. 3 Ohio Northern in an elimination game tomorrow, Friday, May 9. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Baseball celebrates Senior Day in split against #23 Mount Union
May 04, 2025The Muskingum baseball team split in an OAC doubleheader on Senior Day against #23 Mount Union on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies tied the school record for wins in a season with 28 wins after an 8-7 win in game one, where senior Weston Melick had a solo homerun and senior Tobie Teke had a two-run homerun. In game two, the Muskies fell 11-5 after the game was shortened to six innings due to weather.

Softball splits with Mount Union
May 04, 2025The Muskingum softball team traveled to Alliance, Ohio, where the Muskies battled Mount Union in a doubleheader. The Muskies split the doubleheader, falling in game one, 3-2, before bouncing back with a 2-1 victory in game two.

May 04, 2025Sophomore David Link Jr. led the Muskies at the OAC Championships and finished strong as he fired off an impressive 32 (-3) on the last nine of the event. Muskingum as a team placed ninth with a total score of 964.
