The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has named Muskingum freshman Darren McCaughan All-Academic in Men's Track and Field for the 2015-16 season.
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has named Muskingum sophomore Nick Despot and freshman Darren McCaughan All-Great Lakes Region.
Muskingum sophomore Nick Despot set the javelin record with a throw of 192-8 at the Ohio University Open Invitational. This mark broke the old record of 191-7 set in 2010 by Jarrod Ridgeway.
Darren McCaughan, Chris Lardie and Nick Despot all earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors at the OAC Championships hosted by Wilmington on Friday-Saturday.
