The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has named Muskingum sophomore Nick Despot and freshman Darren McCaughan All-Great Lakes Region.

Despot set the school record in the javelin with his mark of 192-8 at the Ohio Open in May and ended the year ranked 26th in NCAA Division III. Despot finished second at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships in April and was named All-OAC.

McCaughan ranked 29th in the nation in the long jump with a leap of 23-2 he set at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships in April. McCaughan won the event and was named All-OAC.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-3 relay team.
