Janci earns All-OAC honors at Men's Golf Championships

Muskingum senior Luke Janci finished tied for 12th at the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships at River Greens Golf Course to earn All-OAC honors.

The Basics

  • Results: Muskingum shot a three-day total 940 (317-312-311) to finish seventh in the eight-team field.
  • Championship: Otterbein claimed the team title with an 883 (286, 299, 298). Baldwin Wallace's Scott Schroeder won medalist honors with a 216 (73-65-78).

Tournament Notes

  • Janci finished tied for 12th in the 40-golfer field after shooting a three-day total 226 (78-75-73). He led the tournament in Par-3 scoring at +1 and was 15th in Par-5 scoring at -1. Janci also ranked second in eagles with one and tied for seventh in pars with 33.
  • Junior Jacob Van Leeuwen finished tied for 21st with a 230 (76-74-80). He ended play tied for fifth in birdies with 10.
