Senior Luke Janci finished tied for 19th in the 54-golfer field at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational on Sunday-Monday.
The Basics
- Muskingum shot a two-day, 36-hole total of 653 to finish 8th.
- The invitational was played at the Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
- The course was a par 72 and 6,805 yards long.
- Otterbein won the team title with a 599.
- Scott Schroeder of Baldwin Wallace won medalist honors with a 144.
On the Course
- Janci led the Muskies finishing tied for 19th with a 156 (78-78).
- Junior Jacob Van Leeuwen finished tied for 34th with a 162 (79-83).
- Sophomore Derek Crum shot a 170 (87-83), finishing tied for 42nd.
- Senior Matt Peacock finished tied for 45th with a 171 (81-90).
- Sophomore Gordie German rounded out the scoring for the Muskies finishing tied for 47th with a 172 (81-91).
- Sophomore Christian Taylor competed as an individual finishing tied for 47th with a 172 (84-88).
