Muskie place ninth at Wittenberg Invitational

The Muskingum men's golf team placed ninth at the the Wittenberg Rosencrans-Maurer Invitational on Sunday-Monday.

The Basics

  • Muskingum shot a two-day total 633 (314-319).
  • The invitational was played at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio.
  • The course was a par 72.
  • Wittenberg hosted the event.
  • Wittenberg won the team title with a 565 (282-283)
  • Otterbein's Adam Crider won medalist honors with a 139 (71-68).

On The Course

  • Junior Austin Wilkinson led the Muskies with a 152 (72-80) to finish tied for 25th in the 65-golfer field.
  • Sophomore Jacob Van Leeuwen finished tied for 34th with a 156 (76-80).
  • Junior Erik Allbright tied for 34th with a 161 (84-77).
  • Junior Luke Janci finished 59th with a 166 (84-82).
  • Freshman Christian Taylor placed 63rd with a 176 (82-92)
  • Freshman Gordie German played as an individual and carded a 177 (87-90). He finished 65th.
