McAdams makes history at NCAA Cross Country National Championships

Graduate senior Macy McAdams finished 157th at the Division III NCAA Women's Cross Country National Championships to become the first national participant in school history.

McAdams' Historic Run

  • McAdams caps off a season that saw her claim the OAC Women's Cross Country individual championship with a 6K time of 22:29.6. Muskingum hosted the OAC Championships at Moorehead Farm, the University's state-of-the-art cross country and archery facility.
  • McAdams became Muskingum's first OAC Cross Country champion since 1991 when Harriett Scheid brought the crown back to New Concord.
  • McAdams kicked off the 2022 season with a first-place finish at the Muskingum Meet in early September. McAdams tallied a 5K time of 19:54.8 to claim the individual title. McAdams' performance earned her OAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors.
  • McAdams also earned All-Ohio accolades when she finished fifth at the All-Ohio Championships. McAdams registered a 5K time of 18:51.9 to earn All-Ohio honors.
  • McAdams also put in a solid showing at the Oberlin Invitational, where she finished fifth overall with a 6K time of 22:13.4.
