The Muskingum volleyball team came out of the Anne C. Steele Center victorious on Saturday afternoon as they hosted a Tri-Match that featured Ohio Athletic Conference foe John Carroll and non-conference opponent Denison on Senior Day. Muskingum swept John Carroll in straight sets, 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-9) and clinched the fourth seed in the OAC Tournament. The Muskies will host the fifth seed Heidelberg on Tuesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. in the opening round of the OAC Tournament. Muskingum also defeated Denison in four sets, 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14).

The Basics

• Muskingum now stands at 20-5 overall and 6-3 in the OAC. 
• John Carroll finished the season at 6-24 overall, 2-7 in the OAC.
• Denison finished the regular season at 12-14 overall.
• The Muskies host Heidelberg in the opening round of the OAC Tournament on Tuesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. for a BlackOut. All Muskie fans are encouraged to wear black to the game.

• Prior to today's match against John Carroll, Muskingum honored seven seniors: Taylour Fatheree, Laura Hill, Mackenzie O'Shea, Chloe Brandewie, Rose LeVally, Shelbie Wiseman, and Courtney Nestoff.
• The last two times that Muskingum has won 20 plus matches in a season was in 2015 (21-10 overall, 6-3 OAC) and 2008 (23-7 overall, 6-3 OAC).

• Brooke Fatheree contributed 23 kills, 36 digs, and created five service aces.
