Women’s Track & Field competes at Twilight Invitational

The Muskingum women's track and field team competed at the Twilight Invitational on Friday evening hosted by Otterbein.

The Basics

  • Location: Memorial Stadium – Westerville, Ohio
  • Muskingum finished ninth out of the 18-team field with 21 points.
  • Cedarville won the event with 129.25 points.

On the Track

  • The 4x100-meter relay team of freshman Liberty Bunting, sophomore Jacquelynn Grinnell, senior Emily Fieseler, and freshman Averi Wallace tallied a sixth-place finish with a time of 51.51.
  • Bunting finished sixth in the 200-meter with a time of 28.27.
  • Freshman Kilikina Schultz ran a time of 1:15.13 to place sixth in the 400-meter hurdles.
  • Wallace finished seventh in the 400-meter with a time of 1:01.92.

In the Field

  • Junior Paige Webb leaped 4.96 meters to secure a second-place finish in the long jump.
  • In the hammer throw, freshman Avrie O'Neil posted a mark of 41.73 meters to finish seventh.
