Women's Indoor Track & Field takes 2nd place at Muskie Meet #2

The women's indoor track & field team competed in the Muskie Meet #2, where they finished in second place.

The Basics

  • Location: Bullock Health and Wellness Complex – New Concord, Ohio
  • Muskingum scored 97 points as a team to finish second in the 10-team field.
  • Ohio Wesleyan won the team title with a score of 164.5.    

On The Track

In the Field

  • Freshman Marissa Hill and freshman Chelsea Daniel both competed in the high jump, which saw Hill place second with a 1.40-meter jump and Daniel place fourth with a 1.35-meter jump.
  • Sophomore Avrie O'Neil secured a second-place finish in the weight throw with a 13.77-meter throw. Sophomores Amber Corll and Kylie Andres rounded things out in the weight throw with sixth and seventh-place finishes.
  • Sophomore Savannah Strawmyer notched a fifth-place finish in the pole vault with a jump of 2.75 meters.
  • Freshman Chloe Honeycutt notched a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a 4.61-meter jump. Senior Hailey Wilson and freshman Sarah St.Germain rounded out the Muskie scoring in the long jump with eighth and ninth-place finishes.
  • Freshman Jessica Dotson had a 10.15-meter throw in the Shot Put to finish in seventh place.
