Hafner and Plaskett honored with All-OAC accolades

The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that senior Sarah Ann Hafner and sophomore Amanda Plaskett have been named All-OAC for women's tennis. Hafner earned All-OAC Second Team accolades, while Plaskett garnered Honorable Mention honors.

This season, Hafner accumulated 11 wins on the season. Seven of Hafner's wins came at first singles, while four were won at first doubles. Plaskett ended her season with six victories. Four of her wins came at fourth and fifth singles, while the other two were won at second doubles. 

This season, Hafner and Plaskett led Muskingum to the OAC Tournament for the first time since the 2017 season. The Muskies also finished with six wins on the year, their highest win total in over a decade. The Muskies capped off their outstanding year with a 7-2 win over rival Marietta to clinch their spot in the OAC Tournament. Hafner and Plaskett won both their doubles and singles matches over the Pioneers to fuel Muskingum to the win.
