The Muskingum women's tennis team aced rival Marietta in Ohio Athletic Conference action on Thursday afternoon, 7-2.

How it Happened

Muskingum took the early edge in the match by winning first and second doubles. The first doubles tandem of senior Sarah Ann Hafner and junior Gracie Andrews secured an 8-4 win. The second doubles team of freshman Scarlett Martell and sophomore Amanda Plaskett won 8-5.
The Muskies captured five of the six points in singles play to capture the victory.
Hafner won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles against Anne Thompson.
Andrews won in a three-set thriller at second singles against Ashton Binegar 6-3, 6-7 (4-7), 1-0 (10-6).
Martell dominated her third singles match 6-1, 6-1.
Junior Evelyn Pauquette notched a 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 win at fourth singles.
Plaskett rounded out the Muskie-winning effort with a 7-5, 6-0 triumph at fifth singles.
