The Muskingum Women's Soccer team stayed hot with their third consecutive win Tuesday evening. The Muskies defeated Bethany, 3-1.

How It Happened

  • Sophomore Britney Golden opened the scoring in the fourth minute on a penalty kick.
  • Freshman Natalie Woodward gave the Muskies a 2-0 edge in the 36th minute off an assist from sophomore McKenzie Weller.
  • The Bison countered in the second half when Lexie Metz managed a goal in the 65th minute. 
  • Muskingum quickly answered when Golden capitalized on a free kick from 35 yards out in the 72nd minute. 
  • Sophomore Mary Double and freshman Natalie Woodward contributed to the Muskie attack, registering four shots each. 
  • Sophomore goalie Katie Bodenmiller played all 90 minutes in frame and made one save.
  • Miki Yamamura led the Bison with two shots. 
  • Alex Moore played the entire game between the pipes. She recorded four saves and allowed three goals.
