Women's Soccer has four players named All-Ohio

The postseason honors continued for the Muskingum women's soccer team by having four student-athletes named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-Ohio teams.

Muskingum senior Moriah Mathies was named Third Team All-Ohio. Mathies led the Muskies with 12 goals, eight assists and 32 points. She ranked first in the Ohio Athletic Conference in points, second in assists and third in goals. Furthermore, Mathies' eight assists ranks first all-time for a season at Muskingum and she ranks second all-time in both goals and points in a season. Mathies' outstanding play was recognized earlier this year when she was named the OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks, marking the first player in program history to achieve the feat. Mathies ended her career ranked fourth all-time in career goals (19), assists (15) and points (53).

Sophomores Sarah Landuyt and Samantha Harbert and junior Hailey Dickey were named Academic All-Ohio.

Landuyt, a Second Team selection, is a biology major. She played in all 18 contests, with 16 starts, and helped anchor the Muskie backline.

Harbert, a Third Team honoree, is an athletic training major. She played in all 18 contests, with 17 starts. Harbert scored two goals, while also playing a prominent role for the Muskie backline.

Dickey, a Third Team selection, is a nursing major. She started every game and ended the year with two goals, while playing a variety of key positions across the pitch.

Mathies, Landuyt, Harbert and Dickey also helped guide the Muskies to several school records this year. Muskingum tied the school mark for best winning percentage (.556), and set school marks for longest unbeaten streak (7), longest winning streak (6), best non-conference record (7-1-1) and fewest goals allowed (27).
